This Irish Breakfast tea is a wonderful way to start your day. This blen is great straight up but some folks may like to do it “European” by adding milk, cream or maybe a bit of sugar! And why not. This Irish Breakfast tea is a blend of fine Ceylon and Assam teas that wake up the day flavor accented by a slight malty taste that is not overpowering, ending with a hint of sweetness. The small dark leaves bring forth a lovely light amber liquor. This may become a daily ritual at your house. This is a favorite of many.
There really are 3 unique Breakfast teas. Irish, Scottish and of course English Breakfast tea. The teas are quite similar yet each have a slightly distinct palate. I never really understand why we use the term “palate” because palate is technically the roof of our mouth and as most of us know we taste with our tongues. Anyway, I digress. Just go with me on this and try the English Breakfast and English Breakfast Organic. Let me know what you think.
You will not that with the Breakfast teas you will see Assam, and Ceylon (or the older name Sri Lankan). This is because these regions are known for their wonderful earthy, delicious tea.
