Description
Himalayan Classic black tea is a wonderful 2nd flush tea from Nepal. A floral note seams to charm the nose and a slight malty taste with a sweet end to ensure a please tea drinking experience.
When one thinks of Himalaya one considers the high ice caped mountain ranges but it also includes some great tea growing areas like Darjeeling, and Nepal. Let’s learn more about the Himalayas.
If you enjoy a bit of a malty taste to your tea I suggest Golden Monkey.
Himalayan Classic black tea is an offering in which the complexity of taste provides for a somewhat unique taste character with each steeping. That is to say each steeping brings forth a slightly different savoriness. Feel free to steep 3 or 4 times increasing steeping times by perhaps 30 – 40 seconds per steep. Get crazy. Pour a little bit of water over the leaves so they start to expand. Then steep only 1 minute. Play around. What good loose leaf teas do is let us experiment and play.
Enjoy with a friend or two and they will want to visit more often. If you are a black tea explorer this Nepalese tea will impress you and remind you of some of the great teas grown in nearby Darjeeling.
