Drum Mountain White Cloud – also known locally as “Gushan Baiyu”. If you are a white tea explorer you will have already tried this wonderful white. If you haven’t you should! It is a favorite of white tea regulars. This unique white is shaded by mist and clouds in the mountain tops of the Drum Mountains in China. The slow shaded growth prepares a sweet leaf which is then withered and dried using minimal processing. Buddhist monks have grown tea here for centuries. If you want to share with friends and family a sweet and aromatic tea invite them for this one. Because of the low caffeine it is a nice “goodnight” tea as well.
