Our Home Tea carries this elegant, delicious tea for two reasons. Second because it’s creation has such a great story. And it’s true. Just like the movies.

There is a Japanese saying that if you give a 1000 cranes and/or receive a 1000 cranes you are granted one wish. A young man fell in love with a special young woman and wanted to give her a day to remember – the day he asked her to marry him. On that day he presented her with a box and inside the box were 999 white origami cranes the young man had laboriously folded 1 by 1. At the bottom of the box was a larger, gold crane. Number 1000. In that gold crane was the ring which was followed by the proposal. How romantic! Shortly thereafter, the young couple put together a list of ingredients with special meaning and the 1000 Crane Blend was born.
